Dear Parents of Pre-KG and KG1,
A very warm welcome to North London Collegiate School Dubai.
We are delighted that you and your child will be joining our Early Years community. This is a special stage in a child’s life, and we are honoured to partner with you as your child takes these first important steps in school.
At NLCS Dubai, we provide a nurturing and inspiring environment where young children feel happy, safe and excited to learn. Since opening in 2017, our school has grown into a vibrant community where every child is encouraged to explore, discover and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Our Early Years setting is full of energy, curiosity and creativity. Through stories, imaginative play, singing, painting, building, investigating and learning outdoors, children experience the gentle buzz of purposeful activity each day. This year, our newly refurbished playground will enrich this further, offering more opportunities to climb, run, collaborate, imagine, take thoughtful risks and learn through play.
As a school, we are looking forward to our theme of joyful scholarship. In Early Years, this begins with the belief that young children are capable, thoughtful and full of potential. We nurture the joy of asking questions, the confidence to try something new, the resilience to keep going and the pride that comes from discovery.
Our passionate teachers are dedicated to giving your child the best start. Rooted in the values and pillars of NLCS, our approach balances academic ambition with warmth, care and a deep understanding of each child.
This transition portal has been created to support you with practical information, key dates and helpful settling-in advice.
Thank you for choosing NLCS Dubai. We cannot wait to welcome you and your child into the NLCS Dubai family.
Warm regards
Head of Early Years

These forms are essential to ensure your child is fully registered, safe, and supported at school.
All vehicles entering the school campus must display an NLCS vehicle sticker. This helps us maintain a secure environment during drop-off and pick-up. Once submitted, you will receive a car sticker. If you do not have a vehicle yet, please complete the form when details are confirmed.
To ensure student safety, all parents, guardians, or other authorized collectors must be issued a school ID pass. Please email a recent passport-sized photo (soft copy) for each authorized individual. Be sure to label each file with the person's name and their relationship to the child.
This form covers both general trip permission and medical information. It ensures our staff have important details about your child's health and dietary needs and eliminates the need to complete separate consent forms for each school outing.
As required by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), we must collect information about your child's nationality and religion to complete the student registration process. This is a mandatory regulatory step for all schools in Dubai.
Please download and complete the medical form and send it with a copy of your child's immunisation record to the school doctor. This is required by the Dubai Health Authority to ensure student safety and to manage medical support while your child is at school.

This form collects up-to-date contact details for all families, as required by KHDA safeguarding regulations. Please complete one form per family using the details of your eldest child. If your contact information changes at any point during the academic year, you are required to update the school promptly.
